Out of the Blue

Out of the Blue Thoughts are little art pieces perfect for tucking on a shelf or desk or giving space to on your walls. They are simple, mixed media, creations that draw you in. 

Each starts with a reclaimed wood base. Each features a small vintage tile created in Japan. The color of each tile is unique to that piece. Each has variations. The color is complex in each tile including darkened edges. The text is created with vintage book page words. 

I cut out multiple pages of words. With the words separated and spread out, I look for an inspiration word, and then complete the thought with the other words available. These assembled word thoughts are unique creations with individually matched materials. 

Each is completed with a hanger on the back and is signed on the back.
